Long distance reply but I believe your referring to the foot of the standard Hi-Lift Jack.

    Ah, I see that now.

That is the bottom part of the Maxtrax Wheel Harness hanging there. It's normally clipped into the Maxtrax but it seems a few were used to level a vehicle.

Sorry for bumping such an old post. I hadn't logged into TW for many moths. Finally had a chance to catch up.

Pretty inexpensive to do if you buy some stuff on Amazon, lots of closed cell foam/butyl options, but it's not your daily so you probably don't care much!

Personal opinion... the Maxtrax Wheel Harness is the absolute best way to carry Maxtrax. I see people mount them to their racks, their bed racks, store them in their back seats and even mount them to their vehicles hoods. When you drag a nasty Maxtrax out of mud and clay and it will be days before you're someplace you can clean them again... ratchet strapping them to the tire works well :D

this is a good call. I think i am gonna steal this idea but use NRS/MEC cinch straps! A bit pricey for that harness it seems :(

My previous Extang SolidFold tonneau had holes on the hinge spine, so it was easy enough to strap traction boards to it with a couple of rubber bungees. Cost was about $10, vs. $150 US for the Maxtrax harness. Unfortunately the Extang Encore lacks those holes:

2018 Toyota Tacoma Dbl. Cab TRD Sport

Hi guys. I just recently purchased a 2018 Tacoma Dbl Cab TRD Sport. Its a beautiful truck! Anyways it came with the factory TRD Sport 17" rims with brand new all seasons. I wanted to get a winter setup for my daily work commute. I found a local guy and today just purchased a set of Toyota OEM grey/silver 16" steelies with BF Goodrich Winter Slalom tires. My only concern is that they did not come with the center caps. Does anyone know where I can find a set of these? Don't want to pay dealership prices.

    Thanks so much!

The photo I've attached shows the same type of rims I purchased, and the center caps shown on top of them are the ones I need! :)
