I've heard about the axle needle bearings going bad on lifted trucks and needing replacement with the ECGS bushings but how high a lift will cause this issue? Is there a prescribed lift height to avoid in order to avoid this problem?

Any lift. Sometimes stock. I added 1" spacer(don't tell anyone) and the rumble followed shortly after. That was years ago. Bottom line:it's not a terrible idea for any Taco owner to replace their needle bearing with an ECGS. It'll go sooner or later, regardless. If you're lifting your truck, there's not a better time.

The vibes showed up on my '09 stock truck at relatively low miles. Others have experienced this as well.

I put a 6" lift on my 2015 a year after i bought it. I never had the issue and i was running 35" super swampers. One day the driver side CV axle seal started leaking (Probably from when i re-geared it). I bought the bushing and the bearing puller tool and did it myself. It takes longer to get the truck apart than it does to actually remove the bearing and install the bushing. I'm glad i did it though because now i wont have to ever worry about it happening.
