    2006 Toyota Tacoma Base 4x4 5 Speed Manual Trans

    I bought a 2006 base 4x4 2 door Tacoma. This is my first Toyota Tacoma I have ever bought. My son graduated from Stark State with the Toyota and Honda certificates. So I was skeptical at first. Also its my first 4x4 I have ever owned. It had 155,000 miles on it and my son assured me, this truck will go up to 300,000. It has the 2.7 L 4 cylinder. New frame as of 2015, new radiator as of 2018 along with new front calipers, rotors and brakes. Just changed out the rear diff oil and will change the front this week along with the transfer case. There is so many different opinions on changing the diff oil. Well I did it and the old oil that came out was very nasty. Simple operation. So No issues so far, bought the truck back in February. Ohio weather can treacherous at times in the winter months.
