Where are the 3rd gen Speaker Locations on the 3rd Gen Pro? Or are all the 3rd Gen Speaker Placements the same?

All the same, thought the JBL does add the sub behind passenger rear seat. Other than the sub the only difference is the quality of speaker, though many may argue the JBL are not really an improvement.

Thanks I always rip the OEM junk no matter what level it is. But what sizes are in the front and rear doors, and where is the tweeter placement on the dash?

    6x9s.

The dash speakers are at the bottom of the A pillar trim. Very easy to get to.

When you mess with the right one, use some CA glue to bond on a piece of loop tape to the side face of the speaker grille. In the past, there has been a rampant squeak in cold weather when the grille and pillar trim slip against each other.

Not sure of the sizes off the top of my head. There are a LOT of Audio replacement threads and tweeter installs.

Do a quick search for Subaru tweeter and you will see where and how to change the tweeters.
Search audio, taco tunes, or speaker upgrade and you will find several on the door speaker as well.

    Good Luck!!

Thank you I will do 6 1/2 front and rear then 2 10 inch subs behind the rear seats. I will probably put the tweeters in the sail panels behind the mirrors like on my 15 now.

I never do, and don’t really give a _ _ _ _. Not like I was asking what’s the biggest tire I can fit on a stock Tacoma? Or what’s the best Cold Air Intake? Anyway since you are a 3rd Gen you have a pic of where the tweeter is, as I probably won’t use that location. My Tacoma I put them in the Sail Panels.

Those do give you the opportunity to use a different range speaker in the stock location.

The number of mods since this pic is really funny:
