ABS wheel sensor Expensive

Ok i searched on the site to see if anybody had replaced this tiny ass little part. i had code 32 which is that i priced it it is like 230 -260 dollars. does anybody know where you can get that for less than that thats a shitload for what it is.. it takes 30 secondes to get it off how can it be that much

 

That's how much they cost. Haven't been able to find them much cheaper anywhere. I had one crap out on me a few months back.

 

so as sson as you change it does it clear the abs code

 

I unplugged the battery and reset the ECU after I installed the new one just in case.

 

wheel sensors are pretty pricey. i had to change 2 of the rears on my gf's TL and each one cost $200...

lesson learned... dont use "Fix A Flat". its not "tire sensor safe" as stated on the can!!

 

ok so i changed the sensor and the light was still on.. i took it to the dealer and they puuged it in and it was the wire from the ecu to the sensor it was ony 55 bucks and the sensor that was not even bad cost me 215.. so if your light goes on go have it checked before you self diagnose it.. that woud have saved me 215 bucks.. the wire got streched out when i hit a bump.. and it was broken inside somewhere that i couldn't see.
