Looks like you've almost cleaned the entirety of the residue off; hopefully that limits chances for that to be the leak. Those gaskets the same ones in there since the problem began or did you have the oem ones?

Another vote that any voids can be filled with sealant.

In iron head days it was a regular occurrence

Yes a little fipg is fine to fill in the pitting.

Not too much. Put some on a gloved finger and just do a little wipe

Will do! Already have some FIPG used it for the coolant bypass pipe that I thought was the problem.

    Working on it now....UNDER CONSTRUCTION
Corrosion from the coolant. Toyota or equivalent formula at 5 years 100,000 miles then at every 50,000 miles. The coolant turns acidic over time and causes all sorts of problems. Mixing different types of coolants adds to it. This contributes to head gasket issues as well as many other problems. Good luck with the fix.

lost all my coolant last week. Radiator sprung a leak. I'll was upset at first, but after seeing what I could be doing trying to fix it, I consider myself lucky.

    Good luck OP

    At what point and temp?

It's normal if coolant is on a boil with no pressure.

Shut it down, let it cool. Refill and watch closely.

Toyota (all vehicles really) could use a high point vent.

edit: I just looked which thread this is. I think if I were you I'd pressure test the system with a rented (free) test cap.

Will do. I was trying to burp the system after reassembling but seemed like the it never stopped bubbling then started doing this once it got hot.

    No, that's not normal then.

If system is tight, start looking into obstructions to flow.

Seems this one got dirty at some point.

Try the exhaust gas leak test for the radiator. I had that issue with my 2nd gen 05 Tacoma. On startup it would push out coolant and I had a consistent bubble in the overflow tank. It was a small head gasket leak.
