Considering these but can't find a whole lotta info on them.

I have BP-51's and with medium leaf springs and have been really happy with them.

My coilovers are set to about 1" preload but I am going to add a leaf and set my coilovers to around 2" and get 33s or 34s.

This said I was going to go with SPC UCA's but they are backordered.

I never realized OME had their own UCA's and they are roughly $100 less.

Long story short, does anyone have experience with these?

I may just get them and do a write up.
But only if you buy them off me if I don't like them.

    Forgot to update this.
I did buy these but haven't installed them yet.
Waiting for a warm weekend to swap the dakar medium leaf pack for heavy and raise my bp-51s and install the new UCAs..... Along with the Tandem Off-road Charlie's I ordered yesterday.
    Can't wait!

Is it an actual ball and socket joint or a spherical "uniball" bearing more similar to a heim?

How's this compare to Icon's "Delta joints"?

I just installed a pair of these. Theyre nice.

Theyre a ball joint. Theyre mounted at an odd angle to the "plane" of the tubes, the pictures online dont show it well.

I have these. They’re really nice. Only negative is to use the BJ cap you have to remove the zerk. Can’t have both at the same time.

A drill and some silicone RTV would probably fix that.

Please, do share your idea! It’s honestly not too bad, but if i were designing would not have gone that route.

Right. The cap is just for looks and i’ll likely leave it off after servicing. The arms are unlike Camburg or Desert Kings where the ball joint forms a “cup” on top where crap collects, thus necessitating a functional cap. The OME ball joint is flush with the top outer lip of its mount so debris can rinse themselves out.

I have some of these zerk caps, it's worthwhile to have on all zerks. I just leave the little bit of grease on them to help keep them from rusting, instead of wiping them clean.

I don't really take issue with the caps in place of the zerks. Looks way better with the caps and not a big deal to put them back in and grease every few oil changes. I will say if you are doing these vs the spc's and looking to run 33's you will have to do a cab mount chop due to the additional caster.
If you don't want to do a cmc and want 33's don't get these.
That being said I am pleased with these, stout, perfect finish, and zero noise and allowed me to get my alignment to stock specs.

This is interesting as my experience is different. I have these with a 4.5” Bs wheel on 285/70 (33”) and I had no issue aligning in a manner that avoids rubbing on the cab mount.

I have -12 offset. I could have adjusted my lca caster forward to miss the cabmount but that would defeat the purpose of doing new ucas. You know what I mean?

Of course. But you also mentioned you used factory specs, which was not my goal I suppose. I'm at a little bit greater than 3.5 degrees of castor currently (down from 5), +.5 degrees camber, and .05 toe.

Anyhow, its good to see another user of these arms. They are a bargain for what you get!

    I hear ya.
I agree, fantastic quality for being less than almost all the other UCAs on the market!

Do these come pre greased? I thought they didn’t and that you had to grease them upon installation?

Did anyone’s UCA leak grease from the sides?
