Brake upgrade questions

    Finally put in the Ebc yellow stuff pads and Stoptech rotors. Very noticeable bite right out of the box, not even bedded in yet. I recommend these to anyone who can't fit larger rotors/calipers, and if you can fit those, still add the Ebc pads for even more braking power and resistance to heat fade.

    Does anybody know why the TRD Big brake kit for FJ and 5th gen 4runner is not listed as compatible with 3rd Tacoma?

    It appears to me that it’ll fit as long as you have 17” wheels.
    Would adding this caliper and rotor kit by itself improve stopping power without need for proportion valve and bigger master cylinder?

    Thanks for any feedback.
