LCA Cam Bolt Frame Issue

I've had issues with alignment and steering. Along with a failed driver side lower ball joint. The frame where the cam bolts runs through has been worn down due to abuse.

Would welding the tc cam gussets resolve the issue with the frame. I would build up material on top of the frame within the hole of the frame where the cam bolt runs through and file it down to match the hole of the tc cam gussets.

Open to more options! This is all I could think of to resolve this issue.

 

Yep, that’s what I would do, except I would use a die grinder instead of a file. The frame needs to have metal where yours is missing for the bushing teeth to bite into. Get a piece of copper strap and clamp it to the area where the bushing is. The weld won’t stick to copper and you’ll have a flat surface with less grinding to do.
