I had a 2010 tacoma and was able to attach patches to the interior roof of the truck with one side of velcro. I upgraded to a 2020 tacoma and the roof material does not take to velcro. Does anyone have any advice or a product that would help with attaching the patches to the interior roof of the truck?

I have some that I can work in and get it to stick and others that won’t. You have to really press and twist back and forth a bit to get it to stick.

For those that won’t stick, I have some short push pins that I put in at an angle to hold them in place. I got the idea from another member on here and it works great.

Its just a tighter weave on the headliner material. Bonus of that is, no fuzzies when you do pull the patches off. In my 19 corolla, velcro rips the headliner apart.

I found that after a while the patches would work themselves loose so I use push pins as well. You should come join us HERE and HERE.
