2001 Corolla 5 spd, burns more oil than gas lol but it gets 42 mpg around town so

 

5 speed pickup

and 6 speed sedan

trying to keep the old 96 corolla 'short-trip errand car' going for awhile longer
woolWax is its best friend now to keep the fuel lines from further rott, finished a jb weld patch on the top tank vent tubing last month, hoping it holds up!
then smothered in sheep fat after encapsulator spray in the back area as needed


no shame in my gettoshitbox clanking down the road, its paid for
heater works well and A/C blows ice cold still

 

miles don't much mean diddly on the 1st gen, its been proven!

 

I had a 65 Econoline
3 on the tree
Shift linkages would cross and kink at the worst time.
I welded and drilled the flat bits and found better junkyard rods.
Shifted like shit but never locked linkages again.

 

My 64 was a 3 on the tree as well, I just dealt with the shifter issues... never had it lock up but not having bushings with worn out linkage made for some interesting shifting

 

2019 Mustang BULLITT 6sp manual,etune,H pipe. I like Toyota trucks but I also like to go fast.
