What bulbs are you using? I have the all season and mine is no where near this bright or crisp... then again my headlights are 12 years old and have some oxidation..

Even a small amount of oxidation will significantly decrease headlight output. There are numerous headlight restoration kits out there that will quickly solve that problem and increase your headlight output.

Thanks I will have to read more into it.

    For the Headlights I am using Osram Super Bright Premium 12v 100/90 P/N 62204SBP and for the Fogs I am using Flosser 12v 90w H11 P/N 12110

    Both are German Made.

ND4's Fog Light Anytime Mod is quick, easy, and reversible. Do it!

Good bulb choices, but I'm biased - I run all the same ones.

On my 1st gen, I just zip tied to the inner fender using existing, empty holes.

Driver side inner fender. There's some threaded holes that are just about perfect to use.

I just installed the Headlight Services harness yesterday. As mentioned many times an Excellent product. I installed the relays on the driver fender just in front of the battery. Plenty of room and accessible. I connected the ground directly to the body mount at top of fender hood and ran the positive behind the battery and up into the red protective cap. Very neat and tidy. I installed a pair of Hella 100/80 H4 bulbs that I had from my old BMW motorcycle for now.

Thanks guys!!!!! I can't use the the 2 threaded holes on the rear driver's side as my catch can lives there. I'll look at the remaining options for the relay locations. Gotta love neat wiring. I really anal about wiring despite my lack of knowledge on the subject. I used to do work for ABC (TV & radio) and often times along side of their SMAG techs. I'd watch them assemble literally miles of wiring and it always looked like a work of art. If not for anything else, neat wiring makes it easy to troubleshoot if the need arises and it's a reflection of the installer's pride in their work. I'd like to think that a small portion of their skill rubbed off on me....(the jury is still out on that).....

Would something like this be useful to you in terms of being able to use an existing bolt for double-duty?

That looks very interesting. I'll have to nose around the engine bay to see how I can work it. Thanks for the heads up!

Well, since we're on the topic of headlamp restoration, I'll throw my last one in the ring. My sister has had her scion xb in the myrtle beach area for the past 4/5 years, and doesnt plan to move any time soon, so I jumped at the chance to use here vehicle as a test project for the quick'n cheap clearcoat method, with clear outdoor polyurethane.

http://imgur.com/gallery/GZkK1IB This is what I did last december. Unfortunately, Im not sure how to add photos to existinf albums in imgurs mobile platform, so I have an update image from late summer http://imgur.com/gallery/NqCOk2l showing that its still nice and clear after a sun drenched summer.

Definitely not going to be as durable as a 2 part paint clear coat, but easily removed and replaced when it begins to fade, and should still protect the underlying polucarbonate from UV damage. And way less health risks compared to 2 part clear.

Your question indicates you haven't read the most important post in this thread:
Note that these bulbs require upgraded wiring without which you risk overloading circuits and possibly causing a fire.
@crashnburn80 provides a convenient shopping list...
Information on the corresponding fog light upgrade and bulbs is located in the The ultimate foglight upgrade H11 (not LED or HID) thread...

Didn't miss it.... i already have the headlight services harness and have been using it for over a year now and very happy. What I'm having issue with is the 85/80w all season bulbs that seem like they are going to need replacement soon, hence the question of what bulb you were running and nothing else. Thanks for the information and I know you were just trying to help....
