    Ok after reading more. I have no tune currently but am interested in this.. what do i need to get to be able to tune my truck similar to the 93 octane tune and up the alternator output voltage in my 2017 trd sport double cab?

    get this, follow directions to use to obtain license, key, etc, then get the tune pack for your particular ECU, from OV (additional purchase), then play away.

    That's correct but just to clarify its not the S3 map, its just the 3 map for full lock/unlock with ECT. I'm note sure when/if the S3 map is used yet.

    If you're trying to completely remove locking in D/S until you're in 5th gear then you're on the right track. Go in to the locking maps #2 for each of the gears and max them all out, it should never fully lock if in any of those gears, but will still behave normally with ECT. However the slip locking/unlocking will be affected in ECT if you modify the S2 maps since that controls all three drive modes.

    just find someone in your area with VFTuner license / software with the same ecu as you and get them to flash it for you. Check your local thread and see who has it and will help.

    I edited the tc tables and will report back. I also had a brake override malfunction which was strange I must have messed up the air load tables.

    Are you playing with the air load and smoothing everything out in there? And targeted air loads ? I noticed there are some highs and lows not 100% sure if they are needed

    Hey guys, another AGM voltage question.

    I ran my truck pretty hard with hi-revs today due to towing (4k lbs) and then running around in S-mode. I noticed the voltage on my meter jump up to 14.7 when I parked it after I got home...it almost always stays at 14.5 no matter what except when I start it goes from 14.3-14.5. Someone on here mentioned to remember to lower the voltage duty as the engine temp increases. This seems logical to me. Is this really something to worry about?

    I would rather not have to take the battery back to Costco for warranty if I don't have to (if it bites the dust), just want to keep it healthy. Thoughts?

    Here is my progress on fixing dead pedal issue in 5th gear (1105 -1263 sec )
    Doing 80 mph in 5th, tc locked on on long incline. The tranny did not kick down to 4th at all.

    The mods I run is only airload tables + tc lock/unlock for 3rd and 4th. I got rid off other mods.

    I did left those curves , but I interpolated number on both sides of the curve

    Ok good to know I was playing with them a bit but went to far on one and lost everything trying to undo it lol so taking a break for a minute lol
    Also does anyone know exactly what changing tire size and gears does to all the maps ? I couldn’t find a difference

    Hey - First of all thanks OVTune (Matt and Rafael) for sending the tune packs. Much appreciated. I was away so just installed today. Will run for a bit then I'm going to the dyno. Per our conversation above did we get anywhere with having tuning we do posted in an specific area that is not embedded in hundreds of pages? In tracking this forum it seems like we're getting some good ideas.

    Is there any rhyme or reason to your airload table changes? Or are you just nudging a bit here, stretching a bit there, and seeing what happens?

    Open question to anyone: why would I want my TC clutch to partial lock up? Just sounds like some over-designed unnecessarily complex BS to me.

    @OVTune Mat, can you post a list of Tuners who have your software to make mods to "locked" versions? Or can we purchase it? Asking for a friend. Someone looking to make a FI SC tune with shifting logic for AT since those MT drivers get all the love. TIA. DM me if it makes answering less complicated.

    The pro tuner upgrade is $1,250 from Mat. That gives you the ability to make and lock your own tune so no one else but you can access it.
