    Hey All,

New user here, I had a suspension question that I was hoping I could get some help with. Currently running Bilstein 5100s up front and in the rear with OME Medium Duty Leaf pack in the rear. Front end is set at 3in which is causing some harsh bottoming out/ride so I'm having that checked out and I'll have the 5100 set at the 0 notch since I have the OME 885 coils on them for 2in of lift. The rear now that I put the OME leaf pack on is not long enough to support the 2in lift it provides (from what I was told by Wheeler's and they recommended I go with the 5160s or 5125s) Is there anyone who has run this set up or anyone who can offer any advice or anything else I may have to consider if I go with either of those two shock options ie bumpstops, breaklines, etc. I'm tired of doing a mod and realizing after that there is something else I should have gotten or done.

Bilsteins 5100s on the top setting, 4runner Gray TRD Pro Sema wheels, 285/70/17 Toyo AT3s, Sumo Bump stops, TRD exhaust, ECGS Clamshell bushing, 1/4 shim for the lean and one inch rear block, OEM Pro grill and garnish OEM TRD Skid plate, TRD CAI, Demon Brackets, Rigid Industries Pro fog lights, OEM Trail Rails sidebars, Diode Dynamics LED SL1 high and low beam lights, OEM Roof racks, Clazzio leather heated seats, Remote Start, TRD Pro shift knob, tinted windows, Rockford Fosgate 4 channel amp for the headunit and sub and amp combo, OEM Puddle lights, OEM tailgate lock, OEM bed mat, LED interior lights, OEM blackout kit for letters, JLT catch can, upgraded 27F toyota True Start battery, Vleds led tail light kit with Pro tail lights, OEM Rave4 side mirrors with convex spotters, just to name a few mods.
I have 51oos on the 4th setting and a one inch rear block>I don't bottom out and the ride is great. My sons truck is the same setup but on the 5th setting. Both trucks use the same wheel and tire package, same installer and we run factory coils as Bilstein designed the 5100s to be used with the factory coils. The ride is better with the factory coils, no sagging like you get with OME, and you cannot get 3 inch of lift from the 5100s. The ride is the same as some people will say you compressing the coil which is not the case, You might want to check your install as the ride should be better than stock.
