100% of the time when it doesn't spin off by hand i pound a screwdriver through the side and spin it off that way

 

Saw on on an old jeep inline 6, dude bent two pieces of metal strap over the filter and welded them right to the block.

 

That was the way to do it on some old cummins; phillips right through the fucker

 

WtF was his reasoning behind that one? To stop it from lossening itself off while driving?

To fuck with his buddy the next time he goes to change it

 

We don't even have a fireplace so no need lol. I just save it up for camping or when we do backyard fire pits

I miss having an out door fire pit. Open flame wood fires are prohibited in Tahoe unless you are at specific camp sites. I guess they don't want people burning down the forest
