He spent some good time on it, taking photos and writing notes. He said his gut feeling is 20k in visual damage plus what ever there is in unseen damage will push it higher. They decided to write it off. There’s a lot of good parts on this truck that’ll be made available I’m sure.

    Wow that's some damage. Glad to hear you are OK.

    It may not have tripped the airbag sensor. I had a similar experience with a lift gate in the middle of the freeway. It removed the under carriage of the car and missed the air bag sensor.

    Damn, and I was just bitching about my front-end repair I need to do. Glad you're intact though. Trucks can be replaced.
