    SOLD

I’ve got a joying Head Unit for sale. I bought it expecting to put it in my 2016 but decided to trade in for a 2020 before ever installing. This unit is a direct plug in for a 2016-2019 non JBL.

It is a 9” screen so it needs the bigger bezel of the premium (non-SR) Tacoma’s to fit. It maintains majority of you car communications and adds wireless Apple CarPlay as well as the flexibility of an Android unit while maintaining an OEM look.

See here for fitment into the Tacoma’s:

I also have a Tacoma metra dash kit available separately to use the mounting brackets and not have to modify your OEM brackets.
Asking $400 for HU and dash kit.

located about 1.5 hrs north of Kitchener. Willing to meet if needed.

The 2020 needs a different wiring harness. I spoke to some members who have done it and had one all sorted out with Joying, but decided to stick with OEM. It would have been another $40us. All I really wanted was CarPlay and I’m ok with wired. The 2020 OEM HU is still pretty crap for user interface outside of CarPlay. The Bluetooth seems like junk too still. But for me, once the phone is plugged in it’s fine. I’ve got my amps and speakers in place now so I’m pretty happy with it.
