Hey everyone, just bought my first Tacoma. Starting to look at mods, and starting with wheels and tires. I have a white trd sport and want to go with black trd rims (knock offs) and wrangler duratracs. Anyone out there have a similar look to their truck that could send a pic? Any advice is welcome. Thanks.

Haha yea, it’s too late. I’ve already seen So many cool things I want to do. Are your ko2’s 265-70-17’s?

Do you have your truck lifted or levelled?

Advice: don’t look at the gap issues. The more you look, the bigger the gap becomes.
Bed side gap between the rear lights and tail gate, the headlights to the hood, front bumper to body, and especially don’t look at the taco lean.

Bigger tires may look cool to some guys, but the extra weight makes them harder of front end components, or they kill fuel economy. If you have to have them for where you are thats one thing, but be prepared to run into this stuff.

Thanks, I’m from East Coast Canada so pretty messy here in the winter, bigger tires are very useful here. Appreciate the tip.

Absolutely no MPG or power loss with my 265/70/17s. I had heavier E loads in 265/65/17 bfg ko2 as well and no power or mpg loss. I always got advertised MPGs and im hard on my truck at times.

As long as its not like 32-33" mud tires of course, then all good.

Don't feel inclined to do mods OP.

Any time I've gone offroad I get to the same places people with heavily modded trucks get and mine (besides the grille) is bonestock.

Start selling all your possessions and build a rig capable to live out of. Too long on here and you will quickly have to live out of the truck!:p
