Finally got around to editing the footage of the FloYota meetup!

It was a blast. Thanks to everyone that came out.

Damn how did I miss this? Gandy is like 30 mins from my house.

 

It was put together on fairly short notice lol about 2mos

Interest in the event on Facebook tripled like 4-5 days before the event haha wayyyy bigger of a turnout than expected

May be looking to do another one towards the end of this year/beginning of next

 

Had a great time at this meet ! Very well organized & look forward to the next

Not in the video bc I had to leave and come back mid way into it. Rookie mistake of not bringing any food or water and skipping breakfast.

I know it's not a huge meet-up, or outdoorsy or anything but a few of us might be grabbing a bite to eat and chilling at Ford's Garage (in Tampa, off Sheldon and Linebaugh) this Friday night. Not big by any means, only like 5 or 6 of us maybe so far, but it's something if ya just wanna stop by and say hi. Not trying to hijack, just putting it out there for any locals just looking to grab a drink and chill.

The Florida Tacoma FB page tends to post events more often, the Tampabay Tacoma FB page not so much but still every so often. I sadly missed the Gandy meet this time, sadly my nervousness with large crowds tends to do that regardless.

I'll be out of town on Friday. Have fun though! I haven't been to Ford's yet but it's been on my restaurant list since moving to Tampa a year ago.

 

I feel you haha I skipped lunch since I was busy filming and helping out with the event

We tried to get a couple food trucks out but they never showed sadly

 

It's not bad, I mean...it's not fantastic but it's good. I'm a picky ass eater so the whole avocado egg white on wheat kinda stuff never really appeals to me but they have a good classic burger. Good atmosphere though, clean, definitely at least worth a visit or two. I wouldn't tell anyone to drive an hour to get there though.

 

I will definitely go next time.

 

My buddy is doing another one in December!
