Brett, what did you use again for your swing out mounts when you went to dual. I can’t find it in your thread but I remember saying you really liked it and wouldn’t do it a different way. Helping a buddy plan a bumper build

It's just a 1.25" grade 8 bolt, and some oil embedded bronze bushings from mcmaster pressed into a piece of 2" DOM. You could probably go with a different size so long as the OD/IDs of the bushing/bolt/DOM all work together.

Really stout and never caused me any issues, but you do have to replace the bushings every few years.

What Brett did works well or you can go with the 4xinovations mounts.

I currently have the 4x mount. It doesn’t work so well as a top mount because it’s a double shear. I had to reinforce the hell out of it to get it from not sagging(still has a slight sag when it’s fully loaded with guilds) Looking a single shear opinions.

It's as simple as it sounds. Just two flanged bushings pressed into a piece of tubing. There's washers on either side of the bushing, and my bumper is also sleeved with a piece of tubing with a 1.25" ID.

All the bolt ons for the 2nd gen. Even one from a company with overland in the name.

Ready to swap over the GFC, and have some nice toasty seats in time for winter.

These seats weren't too bad. Lots of hog rings on the Corbeaus though when I did those.

I've been slacking on trip reports, or more accurately - photo dumps, this year. Very slowly working my way through pics.

Utah May 2020 - A sweet campsite -> a slot canyon -> HITR - > one of my favorite campsites ever.

Awesome photos as always Brett! The wagon marker with the sunset is sick.

    Straight off the phone.

I love that trail and all the history around it. Seeing those wagon markers right next to grooves left in the slickrock where they winched wagons up is super rad.

Hurry up and find that Dana 60.

I've still got the widened spring hanger, offset shackles, shocks, hoops and leaf springs from my 1-ton sas. Also have a truck power steering box. We can tap for hydro too.

Start thinking about gears & lockers. If that 14b is open then just get a Detroit. Otherwise OX is working on a locker that is probably worth waiting for.

I had 5.38s with both the 37s and 40s. Worked ok for both.

1-ton Penguin coming soon with extra squeaks!
