I learned to type on a RadioShack TRS-80, Commodore VIC-20, Commodore 64, and a TI-99/4 in grade school. We had a weird assortment to say the least. There were a few of these, too

Around 1994 the public school I went to for computer class was tossing their IBM Portable PC 5155. My buddy grabbed one and used it as his 'legtop' for a week. the keyboard attaches and swings up for portability, and then you have a steel carry handle. 30 lbs and it takes about 2 hands to carry it.

My 1st computer was an Apple II Plus, we got it in 1980 had it for a few months I lost interest in the computer and my mother sold it.

Many years later I was given a 386SX/25 with 2mb ram and a EIDE hard drive, I purchased a modem for it and signed up with Compuserve in early 1994, later that year I upgraded to a 486DX, don't remember the ram or HD, I had my first email address a bunch of #'s @compuserve.com, I've pogressed and upgraded to the point I have several computers and a laptop, the most powerful pc is an Intel i7 quad, all my processors have been intel except once I had an AMD K5 133mhz, I was really impressed with AMD, but for some reason I stayed loyal to Intel.

I wish I knew back then, what I know now i'd be a billionaire.
