    Let alone it's a lot thicker (plastic), so it eats into the interior bed length. Also, all the extra crap they CNC into it (flag, etc) will just collect dirt, mud, food, etc.

    We were able to knock out a batch of 30 in 2-3 weeks. If they're all the same, it can be done much faster.

    Speaking of eating into the bed... The OEM plastic one is known to rub up against the bed and wear away the material of the bed.... I wonder if that will go away when swapping this in vs the OEM plastic panel... Maybe this could be a mod that fixes a problem at the same time?

    :cheers: I can vouch that it has a lower profile over OEM, and is shorter from top of the tailgate down. I think you're on to something.
