Hello! Newbie 5 lug owner here

    So, I made the mistake of buying a five lug. I see that they’re a lot of fun but I will at some point likely be trading up or swapping for 4x4. Plenty of reading to do. In the meantime, I am enjoying the truck. It is the first pick up I have owned.

    300k v6 SR5 xtcab w/ an autotragic. I’ve watched a few videos on timing and valve cover jobs...which are needed. Thinking a trans cooler may also be worthwhile as I plan to haul mulch and building materials with her. With the mileage I may just snag an engine from a part out to service as I’m seeing 150k donors locally. I’m also looking into tires with a higher load rating, leak springs and shocks in the near future.

    I’m also looking into cabs and/or tri-fold tonneaus. And enjoying the pursuit of a 114.3 wheel for her. I’m any case, she’s rust free...a rarity in Michigan.
