always like seeing the SQ installs with a good front stage. also with Focal K2Ps, good power here, and no rear mess. good luck!

Yeah, the coaxials are for the rear, but debating putting them in right now.

keeping 6x9s in the front and K2s in the rear? what's up front, again? not so many have the rears deleted at least around here, it seems. i generally drive alone and the 'rear fill' concept or whatever isn't for me. I've just had so many installs and i finally found what works for me: clean straightforward powerful and simple. i also don't use dsp, not even eq, just hpf for front and lpf for the sub. good luck however you do yours.

    So installed the headunit today.

Here is all the pieces from Crutcfield. The only thing I added was the adapter set for the OEM GPS antenna. I also did not use the AUX RCA connection as I never used it anyway.

All connections soldered. Only butt connector used was for the remote turn on wire, as I will be running the wire to the rear. But the radio remote turn on, FM/AM antenna power, and the Maestro RR are hooked to it right now.

iDatalink Maestro harness configured and Tesa taped up.

So getting the radio set in the dash kit, and it had this big space for the cubbie piece. I will never use that piece and decided to make it flat.

My OCD kicked in, and had to get rid of these plastic nipples that were left from breaking off the side tabs that are not used.

Finally installed. The only thing I could not get to work was the brake bypass from pushing certain areas on the screen, must have tried 30 times. Finally just jumped the green wire (Parking Brake) to the ground of the radio. It kept Android Auto from running wirelessly. I kept getting a message on my phone that the parking brake needed to be engaged. No issue now.

Holy head unit Batman! Who needs drive-in theaters?

Looks clean though. Nav has to be a dream with that thing.

A tip for those solder splices - if you can run your finger over them and they prick you or catch your skin they can go right through that heat shrink. You can take a pair of pliers and quickly squeeze out the rougher spots after the solder cools. Then any lingering sharps can be smoothed over with a file.

    10" floating screen

I'll get some pics. It's amazing. Backup camera is full acreen but looks like a low res video on youtube. But the backup lines are there from OEM.

    Thanks for tip on soldering.

Yeah unfortunately, factory backup cam is set low res from the start. Then you blow it up to a 10” screen, and it looks like it was taken on a Blackberry. Gets the job done though so oh well

Hi, So I'm thinking of putting in the Pioneer DMH-2660NEX and I was just wondering what kind of functionality (if any you lost). I'm a little nervous about following through with the radio replacement even with the Maestro. Thanks!!

I didn't replace SiruisXM as that is another box to add.
I do have it plugged into the ODBII port and get the tire pressure page, volts, and check engine light info. There is also a gauges page that I really don't use that has other sensor info.
Didn't hook up the AUX input as I never used it.

Everything else is working like it should.
