Did you use larger washers or a backing plate? I have this vision of the rack tearing out of the plastic when I pull the 1st aid pouch off the velcro.

It comes with some washer, they are not huge, but theres not much space for big washers. But, the plastic is pretty thick there, and I would think the whole plastic panel would rip off before the washers pulled through.

Is there a good starting point for prying off that panel? I’d like to avoid breaking any clips.

Installed Fyre Flys Interior LEDs for 3rd gen:
    https://www.amazon.com/Fyre-Flys-In...lys+interior+led+tacoma&qid=1602111487&sr=8-2
I only installed the map lights (white base in picture) and the Dome light (6 LED bulb), I have no visor lights on my SR, and don't want to have bright lights on my tags as I wish not to be easily identified if I have to go on the run again. :D
Came with a tool for the lens cover removal and instructions. The map lights are very difficult to remove unless you have a special tool or per the instructions, wrap tape around the bulb. I used duct tape, pressing it down toward the bulb base with a plastic tool and wrapping around the bulb, twisted tight, yanked right out like a bad tooth :D
Came with a card stating a 2 year warranty for interior bulbs and providing contact info. Awesome.
I didn't want the Ultimate Interrogation Room LEDs, these are perfect for me, very nice white light, brighter than the dim OEMs, but not too bright. I do wish the dome light was designed for two bulbs instead of one, it could use more light on each side. IMG_1709.jpg IMG_1715.jpg

So the basics of it is that the clips on the console sides need to be pushed inward to the center of the console, the top is just a lip that slides together. I show a close up of the clips that it attaches with.

There is also 2 ways to install this rack, either one will work, one will pull it closer to the console, the other makes it sit flatter. Either way you mount it, the holes are the same. So if you put it on one way and dont like it, turn is around and try the other way.

Ordered some in black, then painted them myself.
that looks sweet! I ordered mine from Tacomods as well, but in black. I painted them myself, in voodoo blue.

Yeah, I wasnt sure how to remove it at first, everyone always said it just pops off... so in a effort to get it off without breaking anything I just pryed at it and it came apart. Once it was out I got to see how it connects and that helps a ton with understanding how to get it out.

Something my dad told me when I was a kid "if you dont know how to take something off your car, go to the junk yard and take it off a junk car. Once you break it there, you'll know how not to break it at home"

They look good. While I've got you, do you have the "right pull" a lot of people experience with the st Maxx? They're a top choice for my next set. Also cant decide on 255 or 285 lol.

I get a pull on crowned roads. But on dead flat pavement i get no pull. My alighnment is within spec. Caster is still a little to far on the positive side for my taste but i rotate often so ill deal with it until i buy UCA's.

They have been good tires for sure. I do alot of brach driving and they eat anything and everything off road.

I run around 38psi all around FWIW.
