I am having front brake problems on my 05 taco. I took the caliper off and found that 2 pistons were seized on one caliper. The truck also does not have the braking power i would like. I saw that some other people put tundra brakes on their first fen tacoma. I have 17 inch rims so they should fit the rims but is their a bolt on tundra option for the 2nd gens that has more braking power?
I went to the parts store and got the brakes from a 01 tundra and it will bolt up but the rotors look like they are the same size as the original ones! I dont think that will make a noticeable difference in braking power, im not sure though. Any ideas?
