Window glass interchangeable

Question: is window glass interchangeable on second generation Tacoma’s?

Edit: No not in my case, thanks for the responses guys, looks like regular cab glass is only for regular cab doors

specifically: can the door glass from a Regular Cab 2006 2.7l 4x4 with roll up windows be used for any of the following; Double Cab 2011 4.0l 4x4 with power windows, Regular Cab 2005-2011 2.7 4x2 with roll up windows, and if not what causes the incompatibility?

thanks for any responses and the reason I’m asking this is because I have tinted glass from my 06 I sold and I’m wondering if I can put it in my current truck and if not there’s a kid in my neighborhood that has a mean looking little 2wd regular cab and I figure if it fits his I can gift the glass to him

 

I’m betting the glass is the same shape, the issue may be is they use two different window regulators, so the mounting tabs may not match up.

 

The frames and glass are slightly different on a RC; reg cab glass is only compatible with other reg cabs. Same goes for Caps/Toppers.

When I parted out my '05 AC, my door glass was kept. When I bought my '09 reg cab, I thought sweet - let's swap my nicely tinted glass over... nope.
