I still have 4 of those jack stands sitting in my garage. I should get around to returning those as well. HF is always a black hole for me, too many bargains to look at.

I love my M18 Surge and use much more than my impact if you don’t need the full torque and noise of impact.

I was looking at those too. Does it have enough power for working on your truck? Just the normal maintenance and such?

Ok, so I installed the ecgs front diffs, put the driver side once upon a time new napa cv in, brand new Toyota seal came pre-installed at 4mm, and it leaks. Ive pulled the axle and re seated it clip up face and down multiple times. I tried cleaning everything so there for sureeeee no dirt. But it still leaks. They're sending me a new seal to try. Anyone ever have issues like this? The old Timken seal did not leak.

No.... I got my seals from ecgs too, but I used oem remanufactured CVS. No leaks.

If 2nd seal leaks it sounds like its time for a new CV :notsure:

Thats what I was thinking. I might try another Timken seal tomorrow. Maybe the napa is like 0.005" off or something.... worst case it'll be a spare to the spares spare lol 35s and front locker means cvs are like a savings account, the more the better.

Love mine Milwaukee stuff. My 1/2” impact comes wheeling with me now.

I second that about Milwaukee. The stuff is good shit. This year I've accumulated the 1/2 impact, 4 1/2 inch angle grinder (18V) as well as the 1/4 impact driver/drill set, a 3/8 impact, and a 3/8 ratchet. I carry the 3/8 impact and ratchet in the truck. I tested, and confirmed, the 12V 3/8 impact will break loose a fully torqued ADD CV nut, which is probably the highest torque value nut or bolt I would encounter on a trail repair. The 12V also has a USB charger adapter you can use to charge your batteries from a typical car charger.

How do you like the ratchet? That’s next on my list.

Game changer... So nice in closed quarters. I got the 3/8 so I could keep all my truck sockets 3/8 impact socket.

I think the 1/2 ratchet is too big, seems to defeat my purposes for it.

Understandable. Do you have it in 12v or 18?

That half is amaze balls. But mostly the 3/8's is enough. I have both right angle and the standard.
