Does anyone know what’s the bolt size that goes on the L bracket to attach the snorkel? Thanks!

How does it hold up, specially in tuff weather?

Ran it for three years before I needed to replace it. And I'm on the cost. Heat and rain like crazy. No issues.

Something like this I think. I honestly cant remember exactly what specific 3M tape I used. I do remember that it was on a roll with red backing. Clean the area with degreaser first and make sure its dry before adhering it to your vehicle. I double stacked it, meaning I put a strip on the vehicle and put a second strip on the L-bracket to add more flexibility. Like others have said on this thread, it's not permanent and it will need to be redone after a while. I've had to redo it about 3x so far and its due for a fix again. However, this time I'm going to just drill the A-pillar and seal the backside with RTV to be done with it. I'm just getting tired of constantly fixing it every year or so.

I wouldn't use tape. If you are in a tight area and you rip it off then what? I bolted mine on.

I understand the concern, however there's like 8 bolts securing it to the fender so if you're in a position where its going to be ripped off, the fender's coming too or you're picking up the plastic pieces scattered on the ground. The 3 tiny screws holding it to your A-pillar wont save you. That's just my opinion. With that said, when I get around to fixing my bracket for the third time upon returning home, I plan on marking and drilling the holes for screws because I'm tired of fixing the tape every few years when the 'norkl separates from the A-pillar. :anonymous:

ThankYou guys 4 all your comments, definitely I’ll be drilling the pillar for more rigid and strong hold, I see the wind pushing the snorkel everywhere! Lol
