The forums didn’t persuade me or reinforce any position - the trucks did.

I was going to be a member of wherever I chose, and I chose the Tacoma because it was clearly superior.

All brands have their issues, even Toyota’s. I have a 2003 duramax as well as my Tacoma. I’ve been a member of a couple duramax forums for a long time but can’t tell you the last time I logged in on them, I drive my Tacoma 98% of the time :D

    Yes
I would’ve bought a ford or Chevy but unfortunately my sister married outside of the family despite my efforts.

I choose to belong to car forums so I can better understand the vehicles I own. I've been on the Subaru Forester owners forum and the Mercedes-Benz forum, but NOTHING matches the analysis, intensity, diversity, and down-right craziness of the Tacoma Forum! :)
