How do I power two of these subs?

    Something that puts out around 600-800 rms at 2 ohms.Lots of good amps out there in that power range for pretty cheap

    Look for rms power not max power and buy a decent brand not boss and you’ll be good to go. You will also need an amp kit or buy separate cables. 4 ga power and ground

    Headroom is a good thing. I’d shoot for closer to 1000 personally. Just because you have doesn’t mean you use it all. Just set the gain properly and the amp won’t have to work as hard

    I thought anything more than 600w would send too much power to the subs and blow them?

    Clean power generally does not kill speakers. It’s distortion (clipping and thus heat) that kills speakers. Headroom provides you more clean power.
