Remove method NV race wheel accent bolts with tire still on?

    Bought my 17 inch method NV race wheels awhile back and I love them but I hate that chrome “bead lock” look on them, was curious if I could safely remove the bolts from the lip with the tire still on the rim and truck, or would it end in catastrophe if anyone has done this please inform me. (I do plan to paint them)

    Sure can. I just swapped mine out recently. Those bolts are there for aesthetic reasons only.
