Thanks! I got good advice to use popsicles stick to Mach it up. And it worked well.

In hindsight that looks WAY more complicated than my triple stick setup on mine. We just had to adjust for stick height and side to side clearance. You've got like 3 different 90* angles there...

Anyone out there have a good set of measurements to get a single stick up next to the manual shifter level? I wish I knew how to weld, but I don't.... i'll have to find help to accomplish that part.

Takes some time to think about. I bought some metal rods that a 90* bend in it already so that helped make it easier.

Best bet would be to get some bailing wire (or thicker) to make the template for someone else to weld up. It would be difficult to give exact measurements as there is so many variables.

Could also do a bolt on variable to with set screws.
This got changed to set screws, since there wasn't enough room to use the bolts

Think you might need more gap between fj shifter and auto shifter assembly.
Have issues with my FJ shifter bouncing sideways on rough dirt road.

Same here I’ve noticed that recently. Soon I’m going to take it off and make bend away from the shifter and see if that helps. I’ll post results on here.

Does it matter what order you activate the ADD and shift the transfer case in? ie do you need to always do one before the other?

the transfer case should be engaged first if you want to mimic the oem operation to engage at speed. What I had always done though was treat the ADD like a locking hub and lock before I need 4wd, you can then shift in and out of 4x4 on the fly. Don’t try to engage the ADD at speed without the transfer case in 4wd or you’ll hear a lot of funny and expensive noises.

Where did you get the rubber boot to seal the floor? Can you take some measurements of the shifter mods?

Has anybody made a fixture for the TCase shifter mods needed to come up through the coin slot?

the rear driveshaft will need to be custom. the carrier bearing location between the pre-runner and the 4x4 are in different locations.

The boot is from Amazon Mr. Gasket Small Round Shifter Boot https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000CMGZSW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_kfqDS15tsNlKq

and I can take some measurements next time I adjust it. But most likely your going to have to make adjustments as you go. Also you need to cut the corner of transmission shifter box so that way you have clearance when shifting the t case.

Little this. Little that 4x4 Swap’d PreRunner
AFAIK, you can grind out the cross brace and move it back on the frame to match the 4x4. The holes are there. There’s 6 in the frame, the prerunner uses the front 4, 4x4 uses the rear 4. @foxrcing07 told me about the trick. Cheaper than a custom driveshaft.

Also, the FJ-cruiser shifter for the 6mt is a good option and has a dog leg bend off to the driver's side.

I couldn't get it work like this on my 5 speed 4 banger. It hit the right side of the console and hit the main shifter in 5th and Reverse. I ended up modifying the FJ stick to be to the left of the main shifter. Though in your picture, your main shifter appears to be more to the left than in my 5speed. In 1st gear my shifter is much closer to center and in 5th is pretty far to the right.
