    Hey all,

I’ve been perusing online for a new truck lately and want an Off Road trim again. I thought that all OR’s came with Crawl Control standard but then I came across this truck. It’s got the tech package with a sunroof so maybe that’s why it’s not there? My question is, is there a way I can tell which packages came with or without the Crawl Control? Only about 5% of the trucks for sale feature a picture of this upper panel unfortunately so it’s hard to tell otherwise.

2wd trucks didn't get it. Neither do manuals.

Its a manual thats why. Manuals get A-TRAC though. That overhead console pic is not of this truck looks like.

Edit: Actually sorry, its a 4x2, thats why.

The link Op provided, along with pictures show it's an automatic. It even has push start. It's 2 wheel drive, that's why the option isn't there.

In case you're ever not sure if the dealer listing is accurate, easiest way to tell exactly what specs that truck came with is to take the VIN and enter it here:

    https://www.toyota.com/owners/my-vehicle/vehicle-specification

Like a couple other people have commented, that truck is 2WD so no crawl control.

Ah yes! I knew there was something I was missing. I always forget that they make 2 wheel drive “Off-Road” packages. This must be a Florida vehicle or something because it’s rare to see them in the Northeast. Thanks to everyone who helped point out the obvious haha

So for those with Crawl control.. does that mean no sunglasses holder?

Guys with Crawl Control don’t need a sunglasses holder, because we are always wearing sunglasses, because we are so cool.

    Yes sir, no sunglass holder.

    I love mine :)

You will probably use it more often than CC.

That’s a deal breaker glad I don’t have it on the taco. The wife’s land cruiser has it.

There’s no way you go offroad without CC. It’s an absolute necessity, even in a gravel parking lot. Doing gas and steering at the same time is just too much at once when off-road.

I hear you man. Thats why i got a truck that doesnt go offroad, its for sporting events only. Offroading is hard, so i said fuck it.

The should really make something that automatically does the clutch and gears for you MT guys. It’s fighter pilot level tasking in these trucks. That’s before you go fumbling for your sunglasses.
