Got both the KODJL cable from AliExpress and the other cable from Opuradio today.

The Opuradio cable looks identical to the one on eBay. I’m pretty sure it’s salvaged from an OEM harness which probably explains the price.

The cheaper KODJL cable from AliExpress seemed to be purpose built.

I tore the Opuradio cable apart and wired it up to a USB retention cable to make an adapter from the car side USB matching the Entune 2.0 to the Entune 3.0 stereo side. Probably the most expensive adapter ever lol. :p

In any case I can confirm that other than the painfully long wait, both seem to be good sources for the USB connector that goes into the Entune 3.0 side.

Does anyone know if a 2020 corolla radio would fit it’s the same system basically. Also are there any adapters to connect the harness to the radio other than the USB port?

The non-nav radio I think most likely yes. Seems like these are all the same. I tried putting the 2018 Sienna radio in the Tacoma and couldn't find any issues. Note that the part numbers are different, so there might be something I didn't notice yet...

The nav radio ... I don't know yet ... still trying to figure out what needs to happen to make the nav unit power up when doing an entune 2.0 to entune 3.0 conversion.

Yes, you need the conversion harness from entune 2.0 to entune 3.0 mentioned earlier in this thread. autoharnesshouse can make you one, and sometimes they're up for sale on eBay from others.

Just wondering if you had any luck with the nav radio installation. I have spent many hours researching on what would be the best upgrade for my stock non-JBL navigation head unit on my 2017 Tacoma OR. I would like to get the Sienna head unit linked a couple pages back which seems to be the same as long as the navigation powers up.

Still working with autoharnesshouse on it. We still think it’s possible but we have to find all the right parts. Basically it’s looking like there will be a second harness.

I’ll definitely share an update when it’s working.

If you don’t want to wait there’s the eBay seller who’s selling 2020 head units and supposedly has nav working ... but he’s charging $2500 for it

Nah, I like the OEM 2020 CarPlay! I’m searching for apps that allows you to play some extra stuff on your head unit like YouTube, movies etc for the family. If you jailbreak your phone, you have unlimited access to whatever you want on the head unit as well! Why spending more money for an aftermarket radio when the OEM has lots of potential?

I suppose if that's the intent it is worth it..To me, with the purpose of simple easy carplay updated to iOS 14...such a simple solution. To each their own though.

Yes Tacoma XSP you should have no issues as they are plug and play with the same connectors. Sorry for the delayed response.
