Depending on where you live, and the actual condition, looks like a good price.

I paid 21K for a TRD OF with 96K on it and leather seats and hard tonneau cover

Prices are very high rn for all tacomas. Price varies a lot depending on region and condition. It’s hard for us to tell you if it’s a good price or not without those 2 pieces of info.

that rust on hitch is very concerning. I would definitely either ask for pictures of the frame or look in person. If you don’t know, that is the #1 problem with these trucks and you don’t wanna spend 20k on something ready to “taco” in half.

The surface rust on the hitch isn’t a big deal, but it could be an indicator of a bigger problem

16.5. It was a 30k truck, new. I’m giving the benefit of the doubt to the fact it is a Toyota dealer. If it were anyone else, maybe not so much. Have them change out the rear diff oil if it hasn’t been done

    Overpriced.

Get under that truck and inspect the frame closely.

Beautiful truck. But 21K for a Base with 146K miles I'd keep looking. Just keep in mind what they may have paid previous seller on trade-in price. Go to KBB or NADA and see for yourself (just a reference).

I'm still shocked by what Tacomas are selling for on the used market. On one hand, keeping prices high helps all of us here, but I personally think that truck should be 16-17k

    An Iowa truck!

Unless it was owned by a certain kind of person the rust belt will have done a number on the frame in 7 winters

Price felt high even for an Arizona truck but I'd definitely pass
