New mod to me but I’m sure this one is old to everyone else. Updated the AC knobs

nice! I just added the knobs like 2 weeks ago. Also tossed in the center console and glove compartment organizers. But I have yet to change out the interior lighting. I wish I had the guts to rip off my dashboard and change the orange lighting. Anyway, looks much better!

I want to order a knob for the 4wd switch but the seller never replied about adding a single knob. May have to order 3 to get 1 but it would complete the look. Bulbs were 12$ and I’m very pleased with them. I doubt I change all the dash lights or anything but I’m hoping when I change radios that whatever I get come close I’m lighting

@GRNT4R What knobs? Was there any wiring you had to do to get them illuminated?

I swapped out my switch covers this morning. Incredibly easy with the removal tool. The downside is the color is a little different between the compressor and locker switches, so I’m going to order new covers for those. I also didn’t like the two unused switches up top now so I order covers for rock and backup lights, and will get the lights too.

I used to have those UCA's. They worked well but only thing I didn't like - there was nowhere to insert a cotterpin for a castle nut. I didnt trust the nylon lock nut that came with the arm.

no sir. No wiring to do. They have a clear piece going around them that uses the OEM back light. Not sure if you can see the clear part in the pic and yes they are from China but sold on Amazon. Came in a couple of days

Driver door is done. The butyl tape wasn't supposed to be here until next week, it showed up today so I finished the door.
I also found a new location for the GPS antenna. I couldn't mount it where I wanted because the metal bracket I was using was too thick.
I now have it mounted right in front of the 4WD ECU, I still need to find out where to run the antenna cable.
(in the last picture, the dash is out of the truck)

Yep, base model. I put a new window regulator in the drivers door. The dealer asked if I had power windows. I wish!

Not sure if you’d be interested, but I have the same knobs you just got and I found an LED to use behind the A/C controls instead of the orangeish look. Here’s the link! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KVXTVZ6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_89GGFb9FXE6V6

Looks nice man. My paint is still holding up okay for now, but I could see myself doing the same one day as I also plan to drive this thing until it falls apart. Doesn’t seem like a bad route. Definitely better than chipped paint and rust everywhere anyway. Lol
