Hello Tacoma community. Picking up my second Toyota truck an 2021 trd or my 05 tundra was fantastic it is going to my son in law 200k and going strong I want to lift it but have seen hundreds of videos of problems everyone has with lifts tires a lot of conflicting info and now I’m scared I promised my truck to my son but not sure about my choice ? The Tacoma looks fantastic I’ve put a deposit in comes in next week will I be disappointed coming from the 4.7 liter V8 I assume I will but if I can’t lift it with bigger tires have continuous related issues and a weak engine ? Tell me it’s not so

I went from a sports sedan and Suburban v8 to tacoma last week. 2 for 1. was also worried about power. Its not so bad.
you wont go 50 to 80mph getting onto freeway anymore. Will have to wait a bit for traffic to open up to scoot across road... but its not a dog. It moves fine. Im pleasantly surprised.

Backseat aint as roomy so i wont have to be the carpool everytime now!

You’ll like being able to park easier!

    Just got it yesterday lol
Welcome to TW:thumbsup: I’m a newbe as well, but I picked up a 2020 DCSB and sorted through all the lift threads and like you was confused. I ended up going with the Eibach stage 2 coil overs and pro truck rear shocks to accommodate 17 x9 wheels and 265/70 tires and I have no issues and had to do no trimming:burnrubber:
