Wirewheeling the LCA eyes before pressing new bushings in and wondering if leaving them bare metal either inside the eye or on the tiny outer edge of the eye is gonna be a cause of concern as far as rusting and seizing down the road goes...? Should I hit it with some engine paint? Put something on it? Not sure, thoughts?

Bare metal won’t stay bare for very long. If it was painted then I’d say go the same or find something better.
