My TC UCAs are due for new uniballs. One of them has developed some play.

I was eyeing Icon delta joint due to being sealed, yet still using uniball. I’m after more longevity.

Anyone have real world experience with the delta joints?

    Thanks

Still rocking them on my upper Dirt King arms as a retrofit to those stupid uniballs. They are incredible, quiet, and trouble free!

How many miles you got on them? Any mounting issues? Can’t tell if I need the miss alignment spacer or not.

I don't know. 22K? Something like that. I've had them for some time it seems like. I've only greased them once and that's all I needed to do.

No mounting issues they just pressed right in. What misalignment spacers? They have an integrated taper in the joint and that is what stops it from going past a certain point. Tighten them up and just go.

They fit so seemlessly. It almost felt like an OE type remove and replacement.

Awesome man! Yeah I don’t like my standard uniballs.

They absolutely suck man. Legit. My lowers still have uniballs and my truck squeaks still but no longer from the uppers and therefore the squeaking has been lessened quite substantially. The steering has gotten much easier as well since the retrofit. Well worth the effort of doing the work and the money.

If only Icon made lower retrofits. We need to lobby them to do so because I cannot STAND uniballs.

Couldn’t agree more. For the uppers, did you order the retrofit kit? I don’t know which part numbers works on TC uppers

Yes I did. There is only one retrofit kit part number, but there is one which is specific to the Icon UCAs. Make sure you get the retrofit one. I don't remember the part number. It should be in the thread link I sent you somewhere.
