Ideas for Christmas gift!

Hello!

My boyfriend recently got a 2016 Tacoma, it used to be a work truck so it’s all still stock for the most part, the only major thing he’s changed is his tires/rims. I was wanting to see what I could get him for Christmas(so I can save up lol) but I have no idea what would be useful to get him. It’s not a 4x4 but he wants to make it look as sporty/tactical as possible. He has a whole bunch of things he wants done to it but I want to surprise him with something.

Any ideas of what I could get him, maybe like a gift basket with random truck stuff or other cool additions to the truck?

I found that surprises to other people trucks, are not always welcome.

You have a good point, he mentioned wrapping it, tinted windows & possibly lifting it but I have no idea how much all that is lol

Typically "Help" threads are reserved for actual emergency situations, people on here get real butt hurt if its not and that's the title. As for your question, its not very sexy but you could get him the 6ft AKA "longbed" bed mat. That's one thing that everyone on here seems in agreement that it is pretty sweet and functional. welcome to TW, good luck on your quest!

Do you know how much those typically are, or does it vary?

 

Let's just say 1500 to 5k for lift options, unless you want blocks and pucks. I'll give you a 3 and 2 lift for it for $35.00

+1 on this. As someone else mentioned, sometimes gifts aren't always welcome when it comes to this stuff simply because they had something else in mind or you purchased a knock off without knowing it, wrong size, wrong application, etc. You could always get the specifics and then research it here too.

If he doesn't have any specifics in mind, perhaps get a gift card to a place where he can get one of those things done that he wants (I.e. tinted windows, etc.)

Get him a trd pro skid plate get rid of that ugly wind deflector on the front bumper.

 

Mattress for the bed and a couple of comfy pillows.

This works when things are great. Or it’s usable if you’re having a tiff.
