What else you going to do in a pandemic? Grow peppers! Here's this years line up and it's been good. (L-R) Serrano, Ghost, Jalapeno, Habanero and Thai Pepper. You can ask for and compare recipe's with me if you want. I follow a simple vinegar, garlic, sugar recipe and go from there. Yes the Ghost hurts. Jalapeno and cilantro rules. I added sesame oil to the Thai pepper and so on. Cheers!

I make my own as well. Pretty simple/basic really..smoke the tomatoes, onions, and peppers (I use Jalapenos, and I grow my own Trinidad Maruga Scorpions). I use both in the salsa to get the flavor of the Maruga, but to trim the heat a bit. Add some salt, pepper, rice wine vinegar...bada bing bada boom.

Yes. It was a good summer for peppers considering all the tall trees around my house tend to block the sun.

I have a similar problem. I've read that these plants like evening shade, but I don't think I get enough sunlight. I got 10 peppers this year, but I've only had it planted a year.

My first Ghost Pepper. It even looks frightening. The Habanero's were abundant. Although I used a head of garlic and 3 tbs sugar for both they are HOT.

Decided to try some Trinidad Scorpion (store bought), I really like the flavor. May be something I try making myself some day.
