Hello,

I'm new to the forum and wanted to take a moment to introduce myself.

I'm Mike and have had several Toyotas over the years, including trucks, but my first Tacoma was a 2006 swb x-runner.

That was probably the most fun I've ever had in an all stock truck and I put almost 200k miles on it before I was hit head on by a motorhome at about 50 miles an hour... coming downhill.. heading right for me.

That little truck served me well all the years that I drove it, but perhaps it's most notable service to me was that of saving my life... that was in 2019...so, those little folded airbags stayed tucked away for 13 years before they deployed for their intended purpose.

About a month later, I was able to find another Tacoma...a 2009 bsp x-runner....this one was even nicer and this is the truck I'm driving today.

It has a few mods on it, including the factory TRD Supercharger and a few tuning bits.

Future plans for the truck include replacing suspension components... already purchased and awaiting installation and a rebuild of the factory supercharger.. parts purchased and ready to rebuild.

No photos for now, but will update the forum as I progress with the parts installation.

Looking forward to reading alot of the great info available here and if you're in the San Diego area, and have an x-runner, reach out to me here on the forum... always looking to meet people with like minded interests!

Oh, and I will also be looking to do a paint job on the truck in the coming months...so if anyone knows a good painter in the San Diego area, send me a message.
