I just became the owner of a taco, i don't believe that it has any mods on it. I was wondering what everybody here would suggest for some aftermarket upgrades. I am looking for things that will boost performance and help extend the life of this truck.

Hello James, and Welcome to TW.
    What engine do you have?

I’d start with regular maintenance using good fluids.
Then keep a watch on the frame depending on what part of the country you are in.

    Fluid film and wool wax
Lots of guys like WoolWax or FluidFilm.
I live in the South East, I haven’t used it on my frame.
But I have used it on my lawn equipment. It seems to do a great job.

You can do a search hear on both products.
See what one sounds best for you.

    As for performance.
Unless you’re willing to spend some money. There isn’t much you can do.
Probably the best thing (cheap) would be a tune, but that will cost around $300 or more.
I personally would just leave it alone, and drive it.
If you do decide t9 tune, there is a member here that is great at it.
