Heck yeah, I was hoping they'd go on sale. About to pull the trigger on a GB40.

@uhplifted I have the older version of this one, the G1100, and have had zero issues at all with it. Only annoying part is they use their x-connector instead of a standard SAE tender lead, but you can get an adapter for <$10

Doing the same... My thing against it, is when tightening lug nuts, I still just use a breaker bar or long hand ratchet to "torque". So then it's good for only breaking bolts... I usually just use my 3/8 drive electric impact for the quick spin to remove lugs after breaking loose manually. I rarely ever use my air tools anymore.

I haven't used the pneumatic wrench since I purchased the (Ridgid 18V) battery one. Way more convenient and no noise of the compressor running. Plus, as someone else mentioned...easy to take on wheeling trips.

the no SAE thing may be annoying, I don't want an adapter, especially since I'll almost never need the tender except for maybe 2 weeks of the year lol

I'll use it to get them ready to be torqued.

    1. Hand thread the lugnut on (so that you don't cross thread).
    2. use the electric impact to tighten 1-2 hammers (basically stop when you hear it start hitting)
    3. use torque wrench in cross-bolt fashion to torque to spec
    done.

Nice thing about the 1/2" is that you can break them lose even with the wheel off the ground, no manual breaking. Greatly increases the speed. I'm spoiled now. Easy to spin them back on lightly then torque.
