So curious what options/ ideas people have come up with without drilling into the dash? I did a temp rig up with just a flat fend bar extended over towards the driver side door under the dash works but not what I want for the long term... thought about trying some mob armor but not sure if/ how well that would work or if it would throw off the electronics in the controller...

I had a Tekonsha PrimusIQ from my Jeep i was looking at moving over. The only good place is under the dash below the buttons for the cargo light and the bed outlet and such. I felt like it was the best place that would be away from the knee airbag but would get hit getting in/out of the truck. You might be okay with it under the dash like that. I wasn't and didn't like putting holes in the dash like that.

I decided to go with a Redarc TowPro brake controller. Because of the way it's installed and looks custom with nothing to hit your knees on, no drilling the dash. I got the TowPro liberty model since I tow a pop-up camper with single Axel and 2100 gross weight that was good enough at $135

That's funny when I was looking at installation instructions and YouTube videos they were all like about the pocket. I test drove a 2019. Then later got a 2020 no pocket!!!
I was able to sell my old control with the Jeep so it worked out.
Check out meso customs they had custom panels for the p3 since it's more popular..

Nice. I'm in the market for one, and was consider a bluetooth/wifi version with phone app. This seems like because it has that integrated look, but has a knob to adjust gain real time.

    All the things!
I used heavy duty velcro to mount it to the bottom of the dash on the driver's left hand side. Works like a charm.

The switch blank I ordered was Tpsi-002.
    The custom harness is tph-015
The elete version comes with a universal harness the Liberty version don't come with any wire but the cable to connect with the hidden TowPro box. You must order a custom harness with it.

The knob is also the manual trailer brake button too, just press on it.

Look in this thread post #24 & 33 I posted pictures of all the parts I got to install mine and the location the controller box is mounted.
