Looking to get a shell without spending a lot. I’ve had ARE, LEER and honestly after looking at ranch. There isn’t much difference at all. Great warranty, looks great, all the options I need.

That being said who has one? Anyone have an opinions?

Also to keep the price down I’m thinking about installing roof tracks myself later down the rd. Is this a bad idea? Any advice on that would be very much appreciated as well.

From what I’ve heard, Ranch is made in same factory as Leer. Same topper different brand. Kinda like Hardees vs Carl’s Jr.
I have a local dealer sells ARE and Ranch in order to please the two different types of customers he sees coming in the door.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but no shame in a Ranch! Likely what I’m gonna buy new if I don’t score something used in the coming weeks...

I have a color matched (Pyrite Mica) Ranch cap on my 2010 AC. I've only had the truck for about a year but I love it. Fits great. Sliding side windows. Basic but fills my needs.

Hey! I picked up a used Ranch camper shell this week. Probably to late if you already got one, but I highly recommend them. Exceeded my expectations. I think they are all the same to be honest with you. I had to buy new locks and the leer ones fit.
