Outside of Bridgeport towards kavanaugh ridge with some buddies and we have a F250 in limp mode that needs to do a forced Regen. Unfortunately we need a laptop to do that. Anyone out this way that is available to help?

You might need more that a laptop. Are you stuck in idle only mode?

2017. We just scored a laptop. Downloaded for scan and have a dongle. Fingers crossed he can do a forced regen otherwise it’s going to be a sad night

If he gets it fixed make sure and turn on the dpf% screen through forScan and then when the filter reaches 100 % you can manually force a regen without a laptop.

Thanks. Looking like my tactrix dongle isn’t playing nice. FORScan thinks it’s a Ford Focus.

Thanks man. We found a spot to camp for the night and have someone coming this morning with the right dongle and a DPF delete if needed.

Yeah it was a bit ridiculous but we made the best of it and still had a great trip. I guess you need to carry a laptop at all times when you drive a Ford?
