Toyo AT3 will last longer and will stay quieter.

I have cooper at3 4s and I'm happy with the noise levels and offroad performance, but I would take the Toyo AT3 any day of the week. But they simply weren't available yet.

I'm noticing odd feathering on my coopers and I do an alignment and rotate twice a year. It's likely due to the gravel roads I drive. But I see less issues with the old Toyo AT2's.

The Toyo is a new tire, how do you know it will “last longer and stay quieter”?

You're right, but they've built this reputation with me and the AT2, and the later AT2 all weather.

Toyo AT3 by far.. totally redesigned from the AT2.. addressed the traction in rain weather.. 3 peak mountain snow flake rating.. superb handing in dry, dirt road, sand, mud.. by far out preforms the Coopers.. bought my set of AT3s back in March.. 6 month update on these tires.. best AT tire by far..

Toyo's will be louder than Coopers due to the tread pattern. They will also be louder than the Toyo AT2. Toyo made it more aggressive and with that you sarifice noise. I can not comment on the wet traction because that is extremely compound dependent and all tire companies always say they have the best compounds which we all no is marketing crap.

Do you have the SL load rating? My reason for asking is trying to figure out. Is the 3 peak rating only on the SL load rating?

Well fellow Taconians, I just got off the Toyo A/T, and drove a KM3 for less than 2mos, and had to swap for the Cooper AT3 XLT's. (long story), but these Coop XLT's are freak'in whisper quiet. The y feel soft, but have the 60,000m guarantee. I'm very happy with the change up, and feel these are the tires I been looking for. I commute much more than I wheel (work) and this was the right choice for me. 305x55 on 20x10's. I like. 20201012_180752.jpg

Can’t comment on the cooper, but I’m quite happy with my toyos. They are not the quietest tires I’ve had but there not Unbearable. Traction is good, can’t comment on snow and rain as I haven’t experienced those elements yet. However I’ve heard nothing but good things. My coworker has them on his 2500 and he’s taken it to some out in the woods hunting spots and hasn’t had any problems either.

Yeah, I was never unhappy with my toyos, just wished I'd have sized up, and when you get asked if you wanna sale, then it makes buying new much easier on the billfold..20200505_170316.jpg

I sold these for KM3's, and then got my Coops. Texas wet roads were the only flaw for these tires, but not in a big way. Plenty of mileage, and plenty of life left. Again, not a bad tire, I just got a larger wheel, and liked what I saw on these tires. No complaints at 85mph, or braking.

I'm still happy with mine. (Toyo AT3)

They have a slight high pitched whine at highway speeds. It's pretty easy to ignore.

They have been excellent on road, and off. The only time I have lost traction was when I slid into some deep rutted it out mud without any momentum. I probably could have still gotten out if I tried. But, I had a friend pull me out with a snatch strap.

I would recommend Coopers. I don't have any experience with the Toyos, but I have had Coopers for the last 8 years, and am currently running the AT3 XLT's. These things are awesome. Quite on the road, great in the wet, and perform really well off-road. Also, they look great.

I thought the LT's were load range E.

PS. Do you play bass or fish for bass?
