People are panic purchasing. Kind of like toilet paper and canned beans. Year’s past things have calmed down and returned to a sense of normalcy...Hate to be negative but don’t have a good feeling about it this time around...on a positive note my silver and gold is performing very well...ugh

True, but until people stop panic purchasing, I can't get 9mm for less than 50cpr. And shooting is a diminishing skill set - you need to keep at it. I may end up snagging a reloader for myself for Christmas...

My dad and I split a case of 9mm years ago from the same dealer for $225 (I think), I still have most of what I bought. I ask my dad the other day if he wanted to sell what he has left, he said "nah I better hang onto it, ammo is hard to find right now". I took that to mean "your brother has already ask for it"

Agreed. Been reloading for years but pistol reloading wasn’t saving me much money. So I stocked up every time I stopped by my local sources. Now it makes sense but finding components is almost as challenging.

Those lazer trainging bullets are pretty handy and keeping your aim. I've been using those and airsoft replica's of firearms I have. Better than nothing.

When i was shooting my 45 in an amateur league, it was damn near imperative that I reloaded. Plus, you dont really need much precision to reload handgun rounds so you can pound a lot out in a short amount of time. I think i was reloading 45 at about 18 cpr back in the day. Havent reloaded any in 4-5 years so i am sure I wont be able to do it that cheap anymore

Good luck finding components, primers are scarce, powder is less scarce but not necessarily east to find, and I haven’t even checked on brass.
Even rifle dies (.243,.30-30,.270, and other hunting calibers) are semi-scarce, I haven’t even checked on pistol die availability.

I can see where that scenario would require you to reload. I had some sources for cheap ammo and little time to reload. But slowly those dried up. Suffice it to say that in times like these it helps if you can work together with people you trust to get things done.

Does it come with a cable, say to secure it around the frame of the seat in your truck?

It doesn't. Got this as a "keep my three year old out" home safe.

I can check. I had a guy out in Florida do it for me

It's more of a Russian Red. It's a lot darker than the pictures give it.

We had Russian red for hardwood flooring in a house that we built, I loved it.
